Brief:
Family rituals are passed down from generation, to generation. In my case Friday morning breakfast is one of the big rituals in our family. The feeling of being together, connected, and present is a feeling like no other. Unfortu- nately, life has a way of making things difficult. Sometimes one day is just not enough, Through “Sofra Dayma” I recreated the experience of this beautiful ritual, in a game. Either work with, or play against your family mem- bers to race your food to their plates. This builds a stronger bond among families, and allows us to take time out of our busy schedules for the ones who truly love us. I have loved working on this project, for every time I recre- ated any element, all the warmth exuded out of the work comforted me greatly.
